Why does Lumi Smile use blue LED light in the toothbrush?
Blue LED light helps whiten teeth, reduce harmful bacteria, increase blood circulation and reduce inflammation. It can also promote healing – even in hard-to-reach areas such as between the teeth and below the gum line.

Can blue light alone whiten teeth?
Yes, blue light itself can whiten teeth by breaking down dark discolorations. When used together with toothpaste or gel with e.g. peroxide, both the bleaching and bactericidal effect are enhanced.

Can Lumi Smile cure bad breath?
Yes, the blue LED light helps kill the bacteria that cause bad breath (VSCs) while maintaining the healthy balance of bacteria in the mouth. At the same time, the 35,000 sonic vibrations per minute ensure a deep clean - even between the teeth and under the gums - where odor-causing bacteria often hide.

Can I use it if I have sensitive teeth or gums?
Yes, Lumi Smile is designed with soft bristles and 4 different vibration settings, so you can easily adapt the brushing to your exact needs - even if you have sensitive teeth or delicate gums.

How soon can I expect to see results?
Most people start to see a brighter and more radiant tooth color after just 1-2 weeks of regular use.

Do I need to use a special toothpaste or gel for the LED light to work?
No, Lumi Smile works effectively by itself. However, if you use a whitening toothpaste or gel that is suitable for LED lights, it can enhance the effect.

Can children use the Lumi Smiles toothbrush?

Lumi Smile is designed for adults, but can be used by children from approx. 8 years and up – under the supervision of an adult if the child is 10 years old or under.

The soft bristles and adjustable vibration settings make it gentle, but younger children should use a toothbrush specifically suited for their age and mouth size.
